Diane Granger is completing her fifteenth year as an art instructor, teaching both children and adults at her studio in Minerva, Ohio. She has been a freelance artist since her 1975 graduation from Malone College and has worked as an arts coordinator for the Stark Metropolitan House Authority and as a detail artist for Cleveland Post Officeís marketing and Communications Division.
Her paintings have captured many awards at the Algonquin Fall Festival, including Best of Show in 2003, 04 and 06. She also was a finalist for Best of Show in the 2005 Zoar Harvest Festival.
Doug Granger has studied art with his mother since childhood. Some of his awards include Best of Show in painting at the Minerva May Art Show for three consecutive years. He also won the Junior Award at the Alliance Art Fest for three consecutive years and the Algonquin Best of Show Junior Award in 2004, 2006 Cow-a-palooza Show winning three place in the adult category. He also placed third at Minervaís Lost Gold Festival Art Show.
Doug has just completed his first year of college at Mount Union majoring in art. Besides being on the Deanís List, Dough also received awards on two pieces of his artwork, which appeared in the collegeís literary publication,
